Every LittleOak can starts with almost 3 litres of fresh whole goat milk, straight from our own farm. We gently spray-dry it fresh, and only once, to lock in all the natural goodness of goat milk.

We start with the real thing: fresh milk

At LittleOak, we do things a little differently. With our From Fresh approach, we halve the traditional heating process used to make formula. Rather than starting with pre-dried milk powders that have already undergone significant heat treatment, we start with fresh milk straight from our farm. We spray-dry it fresh, and only once, to lock in all the natural goodness of goat milk. With less processing of the milk, our formula also has a naturally creamier texture compared to many other brands.

Closer to breast milk

Goat milk is closer to human breast milk than cow milk because of its easy-to-digest A2 protein and naturally occurring prebiotics. It is naturally rich in over a dozen of the same gut-loving prebiotic fibres (oligosaccharides) found in breast milk, which helps to nurture a gut microbiome similar to breastfed babies. Goat milk also encourages the growth of beneficial gut bacteria—much in the same way as breast milk. Unlike cow milk, its anti-inflammatory and prebiotic benefits may help lower the risk of eczema, digestive troubles and other immune issues—giving your child the very best start in life.
